The myth of the
The myth of the "Great Terror" was invented in the USA by former CIA agent Robert Conquest and is a cheap anti-communist propaganda. The order on Great purge, in particular, the order of Commissar Yezhov number 00447, is a fake drawn up in the early nineties. A large-scale operation was launched to falsify the archives. The fake order number 00447 is made on ordinary sheets of paper. Its appearance is terrible. The impression that People's Commissar N.I. Yezhov tried to feed it to mice. The same experts "discovered" in the papers of the party cipher telegrams with demands to increase the limits on repression. Although the order (albeit fake) correspondence was supposed to go only between the Commissariat and its subdivisions, these telegrams were sent by regional committees and republican Central Committees, and not to the NKVD, but directly to Stalin. Why? Because in time the "Great Terror" coincided with the elections to the Supreme Soviet under Stalin's new constitution, and party secretaries reported to the Central Committee on this work. In 2010, State Duma deputy V. I. Ilyukhin reported that since the late 1980s, under the leadership of A. N. Yakovlev, with the participation of archivists, a secret "special sector" had been created to produce false documents from a long-gone era. Ilyukhin received a multitude of documentary evidence from a former KGB officer: forms, seals, archival files, drafts of forgeries, etc. According to the informant, the "special sector" produced more than TWO HUNDRED VOLUMES of documents allegedly from the 1920s - 1940s: on the "correct" forms, with Stalin's signatures, and with seals. But in March 2011, Ilyukhin died unexpectedly. The originals of the evidence of falsifications that he had disappeared, sites with their electronic copies were blocked by an unknown person, and the topic disappeared from discussions.
