15 year electrician. Pull out the old receptacle put in a new one white wire to silver black to gold then if u wanted put in the multi plug thing the loose connection will overheat and cause a fire

we have an outlet that won't keep something plugged into it and eventually it would cause a breaker to flip if anything was plugged into it 😅 so now the outlet is for decoration

uh.. Hun replace the outlet.. like it's like two dollars for a new one at Walmart. cut your breaker though or that's gonna be hella much. YouTube should have videos on how to replace them.

Yo so this isn’t safe in the slightest, flip the breakers to turn off electricity, get yourself some new outlets, and change them out after testing and making sure the electricity is actually off1

The adapter is not a fire hazard but your outlets are. You definitely need to replace the entire outlet if it’s loose like that. Basically debris and dust get in the loose prongs and catch fire.
