so if I cooked soup and can't and it's sealed well can it go on the shelf or does it need to be refrigerated?

I don’t know why but I’ve never been able to trust the longevity of home made canned food ☹️

I hope I didn’t make a huge mistake but I canned thousands of meals and have never tried them really because I’m saving them for an emergency
