The $8.7 billion in military aid to Israel perpetuates conflict, while communities within the U.S. face underfunding in critical areas like climate disaster response. Again just speaks to the deeper structural issues that prioritize foreign intervention and arms deals over investment in the welfare of the American people. It's a clear example of how U.S. foreign policy, rooted in maintaining geopolitical influence and military dominance, is deeply intertwined with the challenges we face at home.
