@mtartagency: We are incredibly proud to announce our latest public art project using natural materials - spanning over four Olympic swimming pools in size - in Whitby Abbey, just outside of York, and it’s something that matters to us as a team as we don’t just want to integrate art in large cities. This project celebrates the National Lottery’s 30th birthday and the theme of heritage. The artist David Popa represented seven individuals who have made an extraordinary contribution to English Heritage over the past 30 years. The concept? These seven hands hold the roots of a heritage tree, entwined through the abbey and flourishing. #publicart
