@jackdarylphotography: The Common Man Roadside Donuts at the Hooksett Welcome Area is a MUST stop to begin your road trips to Vermont and New Hampshire. Located right off I-93 in Hooksett is the little donut shop. Depending on traffic, this is about an hour 15 from Boston and is a perfect stop to fuel up with donuts and coffee. The smell in the parking lot is intoxicating as the apple cider donuts are made fresh year round. Hot apple cider, coffee, popcorn and other treats but the donuts are king. What makes these even better is the choice. Plain, cinnamon & sugar, pumpkin, chocolate, blueberry & red velvet donuts and all of them have glazed options. I have not taken a road trip without stopping there no matter what season. But stopping here on my way north to enjoy the foliage is just special. This is no hidden gem and not a secret as most New Englanders are well aware of this rear stop.
