If they can renovate numerous 100+ year old buildings in downtown Detroit, why can’t we renovate the Ren Cen. I was part of the renovation when GM took over. (Centerline Electric)

Why wouldn't it be able to be renovated, its only about 50 yrs old? Ford just renovated the train station which waa abandoned and a century old. It can be saved!

Every law has a cost. To fit with planning and fire regulations and the quango laws the building is unusable. It would cost half the price to level it and rebuild. Except no one will invest in Detroit
