@meginnewengland: Replying to @Tamamblie destined to talk about this darn shed for the rest of my tiktok career because it’s the only way I get traction on my page 🫠 #shedgate #lawsuit #attorneysoftiktok #tinyhome #shedhome
Based on if there’s a bill of sale, I’d see if your attorney would recommend to go after the seller for the attorney related costs, PTO payout, etc

If there is a bill of sale, then the seller sold the shed twice. That would make the seller, not you, responsible to make both parties whole. I don’t even understand why he’s suing you.

How would the Realtor be responsible anyway? Yea, you'd have to prove they knew. Any of them, Seller, their Realtor, or yours. Seller would be best bet but not anyone else.

I think if you see a bill of sale it would be reasonable for you to collect back from the prior owners because they were dishonest

It seems like it’s the sellers who should have disclosed it. They certainly shouldn’t have sold the shed twice. But also, why did the guy wait a year to try to get the shed?

I don’t understand why the judge wouldn’t immediately throw this out bc it should be the previous owner as a defendant

I would sue the realtor/title company , but I would talk to them. The title company should be an expert in things like this%

At this point, you don’t have a loss yet you would only have a case to sue the seller If you have to give over the shed, which I don’t think it’s gonna happen. But depending on what kind of court

As for how you would know, that would be the main part of the discovery process, but you’d be gambling on discovery disclosures you don’t have any evidence exist at all. I wouldn’t wanna sue either.

if it’s on your property, isn’t it yours?? do the people suing you want to move the shed or do they want the land it’s on too??

The fact that he went to a lawyer and they said yes we can sue her. Like why bc he didn’t buy the house from you. He should sue the old owners. I mean I guess he’s suing you for the shed.
