Put the jar in the freezer for a few hours or overnight and wax will pop out. No mess involved

Does it lose some scent when it's sitting in an open vessel all the time, I lid mine when not burning it thinking I'm saving the smell lol. Or is it the opposite, & smells delish even when not in use?
