@natural_selections_: The fearsome reputation that the nile crocodile holds as one of Africa’s most powerful predators is more than deserved, with these behemoths sitting as the 2nd largest living crocodilian on our planet. Although typically reaching lengths of 14-16ft (4-5 m) and weighing about 500-1,000lbs (200-450kg), every now and then there are a few crocs that dwarf those proportions.
