@rob_dalto: Our thoughts impact how we perform. There is a ton of data that confirms the power of positive mindset, and even our response to smiling. You can in fact trick yourself to be in a better mood…and a better mood can improve how you feel…and how you feel can improve how you perform. If you are in the pain cave or down on yourself, smile, and repeat a positive mantra of your choosing. My go to is “Look good, feel great” look good is in reference to form, it helps me focus on a smooth stride and quick turnover. And the feel great part…well that’s just straight up telling myself that I feel great until maybe I do. Do you have a mantra?
