You have to give a name and address that matches the registration in the database at polling station. If you give a name that is not in the database you get a provisional ballot.

Id have to look into this bill. But just to get into the DNC convention you had to show ID.

It makes sense. You have to verify your self when you register as a legal Citizen. Once you register you could just as easily order a mail in ballot that also does not require you to have a photo ID.

Voting is a core right as an American which means any barriers, even as minuscule as a processing fee for a state ID, should not prevent citizens from voting. If that bothers you, ur not a patriot.
