I'm sorry but if I get auto rejected in 5 minutes at 4am I don't think a human carefully considered my application. And I know businesses that do use ats to reject candidates.

People are experiencing are issues with formatting, knockout q’s, keyword hunting, scaling/grading, and parsing. While it may not be “auto”, let’s not invalidate the real harm going on.

I'm not willing to lay all the blame at the feet of ATS when I know from experience 80% of recruiters/HR people are also really bad at their job (not knocking it as a career it is important)
