I went to Tasmania 6 months pregnant and had the best time travelling around with my toddler.

Water activities, cinema, “yes day” - they get to pick anything and you have to say yes, bike rides, beach

You honestly just get used to the chaos, like with the first, you adjust to your new norm 🥰

it'll be fine when the it's the newborn phase it's when the younger child stops sleeping as much that you feel the change most

I’m impressed with your toddler allowing that vibe! The newborn phase you can totally do that!! I have 2 under 2, it’s pretty hectic taking them out solo.

My biggest tip is keep doing as much as you guys currently do when the new baby comes. Adding a newborn in will be the easiest part, so slowly adjust as they grow and alter activities as they grow! 💖

Honestly I know it’s not what you are asking excatly. But I have 2 2.5 year between them. My youngest we just put her into our routine. Nothing really changed at all. Still went out for coffees etc

It will be fine I promise! When we went from 1-2 it just became a tag team of holding or baby wearing. Honestly my Artipoppe has been worth it’s weight in gold.

Not really what you’re asking, but my saving grace when I had my second and third was fenced parks. I sat and fed the newborn and the toddlers can run freee!!!

Anything really, zoo, aquariums, day trips out. Cafe trips. I’ve just had my 3rd all are 25 months apart. Our 2nd was really hard to keep still at restaurants/cafes, so I’m glad we did a lot of caf

Can confirm you will !! I have a 3 year old and a 3 month old and was out and about days later ..do all your bonding with your toddler now, you’ll still have time with each other it’s just sharedtime

I wish I did everything. I went from 1 to 3, our new normal is that we just take one kid out at a time while they are all under 4, it’s too much for everyone to go everywhere all the time

All I’ll say is when both kids are kids (like 2 and over) going out for breaky is an absolute mess, there’s fighting, toilet trips, one gets tired, one’s running off, I gave up 😂😂😂

I jumped from 1 to 3 when we had our twin boys. My one thing would be to savour as much time with your first before the baby comes. Little one on one times will mean so much to you

As mums, I think we surprise ourselves with what we cope with.

Ask you toddler, ask him what he would love to do with you 🥰
That should be your answer darling 😘❤️( that's my inner kinder teacher coming through 😁)

I’ve been having a lot of solo dates with my almost 7 year old. Taking her to places that you wouldn’t take a newborn. We’ve been eating out a lot, something we won’t do with a newborn either.
