👉🏼 5 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE LIFTING!  1️⃣ Pace yourself. Both in tempo while using the weights but also in your amount of training. Here is your reminder that most of us cannot be in it to win it if we go from zero to hero right away. If you haven’t been really active for some time, don’t force yourself to do 6-7 days of training right of the bat. 
 2️⃣ Keep learning. Be curious. The best part with lifting is that there will always be something new…or something old(!) that might be ground breaking for you. Film yourself to perfect your form. Ask for guidance, ask for a spot, ask if you see something you find interesting. Keep your motivation going by always learning. 
 3️⃣ Minimize the constant swap of exercises and use a strategic and well planned program for your particular goal - and I promise you that you will reach that target way faster. 
 4️⃣ Chasing super high weights, are ya? Well, it might be all cool and all…but in my opinion our most valuable strength is in the control. How we move the weight is far cooler and superior to how much weight it actually is. Never forget people are so caught up in what they are doing that they do not pay attention how much you load. 
 5️⃣ YOU CAN! Yes, we need to understand our capabilities in order to keep moving forward. If you feel like you give your workouts a lot, and you eat and sleep accordingly to your goals and you still don’t reach them…then an extra check-in how dedicated and intense you are actually working out. Dare to get uncomfortable, and no I do not only mean with weights, dare to use different tempos and angles.
