Part of the problem is the “I want everything now” society that has been propagated by modern marketing. People are seldom content with what they have, instead they are envious of objects of others

Completely agree - true contentment is found in the present, not in some arbitrary future goal/purpose. It’s hard to stay true to the present thought.

It’s called living in the moment i’ve noticed as I’ve become older people are always asking me what my legacy . My legacy is not how much money I have how big is my house it is to have been kind to those people who have crossed my Path and treated everyone with respect they might be down my luck and we all know how easy it is to be down on your luck. I’m not sure whether that’s intelligence or empathy or both, but that is my legacy, happiness observation of the moment
