@westendluma: What. A. Show. I knew David Tennant was a powerhouse, but to see him in person and to experience his performance was something I will probably never get over. If that wasn’t enough to mull over, Cush Jumbo‘s Lady Macbeth has to be one of the most hauntingly wonderful depictions of the character. To be honest, the whole cast was absolutely flawless, pitch perfect at every turn. This production decides to incorporate technology to it’s core, and even though the element of binaural sound technology through headphones was incredibly effective for the eeriest passages of the play, I can’t help but feel some of the magic of live theatre gets lost in the midst of sound effects and audio mixing.
