absolutely remember all of my friends in middle school going "haha this has a NAUGHTY scene in it" and then we all read it and did not feel naughty but rather emotionally affected

You are one of my fave authors of all time. I can’t read your books and not cry. You make me feel seen and I have never felt that before so I will fight this forever bc everyone deserves to be seen.

Proud to say 2nd year in a row John Green is in our district’s HS Battle of the Books. Maybe next year will be a hat trick with Alaska 🙃

WHAT THE HELL?!??!? I threw this book half way through screaming crying and crawled in my husband’s lap. It is in my top 5 ever. It is so emotionally deep. Wow.

At my high school, “Looking for Alaska” was on a good list! We had a program where we teachers read a book and then discussed it with a student. I picked it and had great conversations with them!

My son, who is not a big reader, loved this book. It’s important to have a variety of books available in our libraries. The problem is not what kids are reading but how few of them are reading
