@_danafee: saw @Jule Marie make a video on her skin story which inspired me to share mine today, in hopes that anyone who’s going through something similar won’t feel as alone. Looking back at these photos and remembering how many doctors didn’t listen to me and how I felt during these times was incredibly tough. I’m being vulnerable and putting this out here because maybe it will help some of you. This is just a brief overview, and I didn’t even touch on everything that happened or was said to me. If you have any questions or want to hear more details, feel free to ask. I definitely remember one of the hardest parts of this journey being the feeling of being completely dismissed by doctors, even when I knew something was wrong with my skin. I remember explaining the same symptoms over and over again. It’s so painful when you’re seeking answers and no one is listening you, especially when deep down you know their diagnosis and/or treatment is wrong, and when the people who are supposed to help you don’t, you don't know who to turn to anymore or where to go with your problems. But you are not alone, I know how sh1tty it feels when no one is listening, but I got through it, and you can too. There are professionals out there who will actually help and do their job (as they should) ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹
