I was offered a supervisor position for 70k a year but had to use my own vehicle and would have to deal with repairs and material as well your right they don’t want to pay the money

even on commercial sites with big GCs in Alberta they mismanage sites, hire the cheapest subs and play the blame game. nobody provides the client with a good product.

I used to go with the inspectors with a clipboard to make notes on. Most inspectors were surprised that I wanted to be part of the process and learn from them instead of just getting a report.
