Asheville, North Carolina, has been severely impacted by flooding caused by the remnants of Hurricane Helene. The storm dumped nearly 30 inches of rain in some areas of North Carolina, including a record 14 inches in Asheville over three days. This led to widespread flooding, mudslides, power outages, and disruption of cell services.
