I visited here at the start of October. My first food post for a while. Please show some love as the algorithm has limited my posts due to you know what. I ventured out of East London and went to Bang Bang Oriental Foodhall in Colindale, North West London. It's the largest Asian food hall in the UK with loads of vendors, I'll be doing a Separate post about it, but today I'm focusing on some really good Japanese inspired Street food from Yaki Ya. Here's my order. Beef Teriyaki & Rice £14.99 Mixed Starter Bento £15.99 Chicken Karaage Spicy Koji Chicken Chicken Prawn Gyoza Tokyo Spring Roll Chicken Teriyaki Bento £16.99 Miso Soup Veg Gyoza Japanese Rice Mango Mochi First of all, the portion sizes are really good, the Beef Teriyaki with rice and noodles was delicious. The beef was soft, tender and packed full of flavour, really enjoyed this dish and recommended it. I also went with some bento boxes, which are fully customisable, I was really impressed with the standard of the fried chicken, both the spicy Koji and Teriyaki tasted great. Large bites of freshly cooked fried chicken with a crispy batter, covered in a delicious sauce, so good. The Gyozas and spring rolls were also on point as well. Many Japanese spots use Mirin which is an alcoholic white wine, but the good news as this spot makes its own sauces, with no alcohol and everything on the menu is halal, thus making it a fully halal spot. Also grabbed some refreshing drinks from their dessert stand, really tasty. If Japanese isn't for you, there's always an Indian spot in case you are too scared to try something that's not your mum's rice and curry 😂 which I tried and was also decent! The food hall is great, such a nice vibe with loads of seating and car parking. I parked in Asda behind, you get 3 hours free. Also BRING YOUR own take away boxes, as its not free and trust me the portions are so big there will be left overs! Be sure to follow and like. I'll be posting more reviews from other vendors here next. #bangbangfoodhall #yakiya #halalfood #halalJapanese
