Given that we now know there are 11 cabinet ministers and 13 staffers who are or were working for our enemies, our intelligence agencies didn’t say allegedly—they meant this definitively, as it was based on communications intelligence. Given this information, and knowing that CSIS has stated that every office in the country is compromised, how can any Canadian be assured of their safety and trust when interacting with the government? When being pulled over by a Canadian police officer, how do we know they represent the Canadian government and not our enemies? When conducting business with the government, how can we be sure the office is acting on behalf of Canada and not our enemies? How do we ensure our personal information, like SIN numbers and identities, is secure from an Information Security perspective? Furthermore, how can we trust a prime minister who allowed this situation to develop? Even if this issue extends to previous governments, why did it escalate so badly under Justin Trudeau’s watch? How does he expect Canadians to have faith in the upcoming elections and continue governing amidst such an interplanetary level of breach of trust? Justin Trudeau has shown an innate lack of leadership, and unless he addresses this issue, it is imperative that reporters continue to ask about this treason, as it is not something any government should be allowed to dismiss. Every Canadian deserves better than what Justin Trudeau has offered. Every day that no action is taken is another day that our elected officials, who are working for our enemies, are logically guaranteed to be ensuring that our spy agencies can never detect their treason again. It would be a conflict of interest for them not to cover up, hide, and destroy evidence. Needless to mention, we also risk re-electing them, as long as we never know who they are.
