🚨If you have anxiety, fatigue, dizziness, shoulder pain, or neck pain you NEED to try this ONE exercise! Why does this exercise help these symptoms? All of the symptoms I have listed originate from pressure on the nerves in the thoracic region of the spine. The thoracic region starts at the top of your back (right under your neck) and goes down to about the middle of your back. It spans 12 vertebrae and is the longest section of the spine. Since we perform so many activities throughout the day where we are bent forward (like driving, cooking, sitting, sleeping on your side, mowing the lawn, driving, etc.) a lot of pressure can build up on that region of the spine. The way to cure these symptoms is by taking pressure off the nerves through this mobility exercise. 💡Tips for when you try it: 1. Make sure you keep your knees as close to your chest as you can - this locks your lumbar spine. 2. Keep your abs tight by flexing them - this helps to only move your thoracic spine. 3. Give it some time, if it feels stiff just lay atop the foam roller and pause for a few seconds. 4. Your head should be able to touch the ground so that is the end goal you should aim for. 5. If you feel it in your lumbar (low back) region you may need to adjust the foam roller. ⏰I typically do this in the morning within 30 minutes of when I wake up. I will do 10 reps about 2 times a day. Try this over the course of at least 10 days and watch your symptoms disappear.
