@philybowden: Berlin Marathon Race Recap: PART 2 The taper wasn’t all doom and gloom, my Sunday workout in week 1 of the taper was a HUGE confidence boost. A 12 mile pickup run, cutting down in pace every 3 miles: starting at ~5:50 min/mi (3:38 min/km) and getting down to 5:18 min/mi (3:18 min/km). That one was even more sweet because I had a bit of a miss the last time I tried to hit that exact workouts a few weeks before. With 3 miles to warm up and cool down, that was a perfect last hard workout/long run before the taper got scarily serious.. #berlinmarathon #marathonrace #racerecap
