4 hour shifts do not need a break ya’ll. If you work 5+ then you get a break. That’s retail. (From someone in management)

I’ve never met a teenager like this? Literally worked at a fast food place run by teenagers most nights and a lot of us would be working till 3am in the summer. Spent my weekends working doubles

idk where y'all are living that it's legally ok for you not to get a break even for a four hour shift.here it's legally required to offer a break for four hours. you can say no but they have to ask.

I worked w someone who INSISTED they needed a full 30min lunch break on a 4 hour shift and then they “forgot” to come back one day bc they lost track of time. Like dude it was literally 9am to 1pm

Legal or not, I think most folks can manage a quick 4 hour shift without a 15 minute break. I’d rather just work the 4hrs and take my 15 min break at home lol
