@queenfyora: Today I noticed streams of bubbles making their way upwards. Its pretty calming to watch lol but I have no idea what is causing it. Is this a normal oxygen thing? Also, peep my biofilm on my driftwood. 👀 #walstad #walstadmethod #walstadtank #aquarium #aquariumhobby #aquariumsoftiktok #plantedtank #plantedaquarium #tanksetup #aquariumsetup
What is the biofilm?? New here and I'm thinking it's bad.

It is oxygen! Means ur plants are getting a enough light and co2 to over saturate the water with oxygen, it’s called “pearling”

most likely micro tears in your riccia leaves causing the O2 bubbles to stream. It's minor tissue damage that will repair itself quickly but bubbling at all is indicative of happy plants :D
