When I had a nasal surgery and they had to leave a splint in my nose I had to take meds to avoid toxic shock from the splint being in for a week

Idk I had toxic shock immediately putting in a brand new tampon I had it in for less than 30 minutes and immediately felt like I was dying my hubs said I need to take my tampon out and I felt better/2
