I assume the F-22 is still going to carry the mantle for quite some time then given the upgrades approved in 2022? As for the USN, does cause the F-35 to force the Super Hornet into retirement?

why can't lockheed modernize and make more compact the engines from the SR71 and stick them on the next gen fighter. imagine a fighter jet just going mach 3.5
