I could have sworn the director even came out and said he was never meant to be the clown prince of crime that we know of. This was said during the time when he wanted joker to be a 1 and done.

the ending is fine, batman is 25 years old. the joker is 10 years older. Arthur meets Brice when he's 8-10, and Arthur is already 25 years older,at least. so when batman meets Authur would be mid-50s

I love this concept of Joker, not as a supervillain, but as a mentally ill guy that is conflicted bc of society, is a much more realistic depiction and reliabale character, it's artistic but y'all ⬇️
