Sadly not all insurances cover all same supplies. I always suggest calling insurance before any changes to make sure medication will still be covered. It doesn’t all fall on the provider.

If you knew you were switching insurances why did you not contact them to see what they require. And if you are on Medicare or Medicaid then you know the issues. Unfortunately there is alway 3 sides.

im with you, i had to stop iron infusions because insurance told my doctor they refuse to pay for them anymore. i cant consume enough iron to help offset my iron levels enough to stay in normal range

Oh God, that is the worst. I’ve been on TPN impatient but not outside but I’ve have to have tube feeds and fight with the insurance and DME’s and doctors is ridiculous. 💔
