@juliedaniluknutrition: How true is this!?🤸‍♀️ What does exercise mean to you? 🚴🏻‍♀️ A few years ago I had a bike accident that damaged my right shoulder. My shoulder eventually froze completely and I could not wash my own hair and I could not participate in my favourite sports of biking and swimming 🏊‍♀️. After a few months of rehabilitation and consistent work, I am so amazed to say it is now stronger than ever! Having an injury that limited a lot of what I love to do really brought me back to the gratitude I have today for a body that allows me to travel, move free of pain and experience this amazing physical world! For this, I celebrate my body with daily movement. Movement is a lot like nutrition in that it is a process of self-discovery. We all have ups and downs in our journey that challenge us and allow us to grow. Along the way, I learned that in order to truly thrive we need to focus equally on what I call the ''Five to Thrive'' Pillars : 🥬 Nourishment 🤸‍♀️ Movement 🧘‍♀️ Stillness 🤝 Connection 🧡 Purpose With this in mind, I created my online support group called Thrive Hive that focuses on these 5 areas for our Thrivers to live a life filled with health, energy and happiness. Each month, our team of experts share how to enjoy more anti-inflammatory food & herbs, movement, meditation and yoga practices and as well as coming together as a community to cheer each other along this process.
