I grew up poor,I loved every cheap art set I got. Beggars can't be choosers & all.At church camp I met a girl who loved drawing, she saved the charcoal from the fire because her parents wouldn't buy

Every art kit I got went to use and was cherished. we were poor, and they helped me try new mediums. plus, it meant whoever gave the gift was being thoughtful of my hobbies, which means so much more.

My oldest step kid told me straight up she doesn't want one of the kid art kits for Xmas she won't use it, so we got her one specifically for drawing and she loves it, used it everyday
