Sharing my recipe for these childhood Honey Joys or Honey Cornflake Cookies 🍯🧈😋 They’re super easy to make with the most simplest ingredients. I got all of them from @Shopee Singapore , a one stop destination for the best CNY deals and ingredients. I was so surprised to find good quality, pure honey there (https://shope.ee/3pyKLeHC66) 😮‍💨 I also purchased my cornflake, almonds there, everything for this recipe actually 😂 let me know if you’ve any questions! Recipe (written + cup measurements and more recipes also available in my bio) - 80g Butter - 85g Honey - 160g Cornflakes - 30g Sliced Almonds + more for topping (optional) Steps 1. Through a double boiler method (metal bowl above saucepan), melt together honey and butter until well incorporated 2. Set aside for 5 mins to cool until lukewarm and mix in the cornflakes and sliced almonds 3. Portion the mixture into cups (paper / plastic). Plastic might be better as they’re non stick but I used paper here and it was fine :-) 4. Bake at 160C for 10 - 12 mins or until golden brown. Keep a close watch from 8 mins! 5. Serve and enjoy Makes 22 - 25 cups.
