costochondritis is common in fibromyalgia. when I flare, I get those "catches" in my ribs. the worse ones are along the sternum. feels like a hot knife and it's hard to breathe until it passes. awful.

I've had costochondritis since I was 11 but didn't get diagnosed until about a year ago, the worst part is that u can't do ANYTHING about it and just have to live with it
