learning about trauma informed practices after our family going through trauma not that I wasn't empathetic before but it really put in perspective how insignificant school really is for some students

All the teachers my kids had that were I won’t say bad but just not a great for my kids didn’t have kids. Every child is different and I think sometimes they think it’s one way for all kids.
