I don’t know a ton about Jim Henson or Andy Kaufman but I know they’re both regarded as creative geniuses/icons. So a film centered on a story of comedy legends treating them as a joke feels off.

The Muppets show is literally just SNL with Muppets, they had celebrity guests n everything, that original show is absolutely incredible, this man was pure artistic genius

It wasn't perfect, but I feel like we got *so close* to a true revival of the franchise w the ABC Muppets bc it was getting back to those adult audiences - I'm so bummed it didn't get more seasons

I saw the movie. I don't feel that Henson was slandered at all. It showed him as someone who just cared about his craft. No tension. Not weird at all. I also thought it was an excellent movie.

Benny Safdi was supposed to play Andy Kaufman but he had to drop out late in production due to scheduling. It was too late to find a new actor they asked Braun if he could do it since he was on set.
