Constructed in the style of the Neo-Byzantine era, it serves as a cathedral church of the Patriarch of Bulgaria and is the largest cathedral in the Balkans. This cathedral is one of Sofia’s icons and primary tourist attractions. It’s not to be missed when you visit this city. I managed to get a nice view of the cathedral from DJI Mini 3 Pro drone here when I visited, the weather was perfect ☀️ Entry into the cathedral is free as of this post, although there is a fee to take photos and videos inside.
