I had very severe perioral dermatitis that did not seem to respond to anything and just felt overall irritated by everything. I tried diaper rash cream but it only seemed to help with the redness part

Metronidazole cleared my perioral dermatitis also because it's either bacteria or fungal based so try and acne med first like azelic acid to see if it's bacteria and if that doesn't work then try a
