@laurenslabyrinth79: Our stay at the Golden Nugget literally felt about as long as this video clip. It went by super fast! Could not have stayed the night if not for a bunch of travel points on one of my credit cards that I paid off. I was super happy when Golden Nugget was one of the places I could use it. I love staying here when I visit family in Louisiana. It has the most amazing pool area with a swim up bar. There were way too many people at the bar, which is why I didn’t get any video of it. A lot of places will say they have heated pools but this is legit (bathtub water warm in the winter) lazy river kind of fun. My kids freaking love it. It was just me and Chad on this trip and it just went by way too fast. We did enjoy the pool and the lazy river before changing for dinner at The Saltgrass steakhouse. I wanted to stay up late gambling and exploring, but I was exhausted. After eating, he tucked me in and I was out. I felt really guilty because it was his vacation too, and I told him to go down and have some casino fun.
