I would’ve loved going with my mom to the hospital when she got activated for hurricanes as a kid. Being separated like that during something like this is scary (and this was in the 90s). Stay safe!

I worked at a hospital Daycare for 6 years in KY I ALWAYS felt safe when I stayed at the hospital. I love that for you and your kids a great idea oh the memories they'll talk about it later 🥰🥰

My mom had to take me to the nursing home with her as a child during an ice storm. It was one of my favorite weekends of my childhood, so despite the scary, your kids will probably think it’s cool.

that’s nice that u can bring the kids to the hospital… i can’t imagine evacuation traffic stress would be an easy thing for children/the parents, calm hospital set up would be less stressful

Serious question, how do ED walk-ins and ambulances get into the ED with that water barrier wall up? Or they don’t and you’re just managing patients that were there before flooding?

oh my gosh, I can't imagine what you are going thru again. Stay safe. Is the TB/SP hospital pretty well protected from hurricane force winds? In Indiana, our hospital flooded in 2008 from a dam break.
