@eatwitzo: Cheddar Chicken Broccoli and Rice casserole 🥦🧀 I’ve been seeing everyone make this recently and I had to see what the hype is about! Safe to say I’m hooked! This meal is affordable, easy to make, and can feed a family! Full ingredient list: 2 lb chicken breasts 2-3 broccoli crowns 6-8 cups cooked rice 20 oz cream chicken soup 12 oz evaporated carnation milk 12-16 oz cheddar cheese 4 oz cream cheese 24 oz premade pie crust Roughly 1-2 tbsp garlic powder Roughly 1-2 tbsp onion powder Roughly 1-2 tbsp dried oregano Roughly 2-3 tsp black pepper Roughly 2-3 tsp salt Recipe instructions: Season and cook chicken breasts until fully cooked. Set aside Pre-cook about 2-3 cups of dry rice and set aside. In the same pan the chicken was cooked in combine the following: cream of chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, evaporated carnation milk, and season to taste. Note: adjust seasonings to your preference depending on the amount of the dish you are making. Add a little chicken broth or extra evaporated carnation milk to thin the sauce out if it becomes too thick. Mix everything in a large bowl and add to a baking dish. Top with cheddar cheese. Top with thawed out pie crusts criss cross and brush lightly with an egg wash mixture. Bake at 375 for about 15-20 minutes until pie crust begins to brown. Add flaky salt & parsley to garnish!
