I'm from the UK, genuine Q - how do ppl evacuate when it's gridlock? Do you have to fund your own evacuation? what if ppl have no money/transport? Does your government step in?

I saw a guy this morning who seemed well off, ready to get a flight out. flight was canceled and no more flights. he doesn't have a car because he could commute to work easily in other ways. no rental cars available, no hauls. he literally can't leave with atleast some of his belongings. he has a whole life and home and basically he just needs to pack a bag and try for public transportation. that's someone who seemed well off enough compared to others, you can only imagine what people with no money are experiencing.

omg, most don't have a choice.. Help them... Not the people, but the Government. send army/ military etc in, to take them to safety... no one chooses, they don't have a choice....
