Black Americans are no longer accepting the role of being everybody’s damn villain! We’re not taking responsibility for the world’s anti Black conditioning, and we’re damn sure not taking the blame for other people’s bad behavior! A Somali individual was reportedly caught on camera shooting at a rival gang, and somehow the excuse being thrown around is the influence of American youth. EXCUSE ME?! So when y’all do wrong, suddenly it’s America’s fault?! That’s a cop out! What I find interesting is how some people come here, constantly talk down on Americans, act like the communities they came from are above this type of behavior, and then turn around and blame us when somebody from their own community does something wrong. Some of y’all left countries dealing with serious violence, so let’s stop pretending America invented bad behavior! And this goes for the immigrants who stay making disparaging comments about Americans while choosing to live here. If you genuinely believe we’re such terrible people and such a horrible influence, why do you continue to stay somewhere you clearly have so much contempt for? Nobody’s forcing you to praise America, but stop making us the scapegoat for everything. Your choices are YOUR responsibility. We are not carrying everybody else’s mess anymore.
