I think the older GPs tend to be more tick box approach in their consultation and some patients prefer that . But the new GPs tend to show more empathy

I went to a gp and they kept pushing me to join the health visitor after I opted to not use one for my 4th due to experience. After I said no in a strong way she turned to a monster.

they will ask you to leave practice and say breakdown 🥺 might only be that doctor at practice when your unwell ❤

Thank you for being transparent about what people can do if they have bad experiences. I would also add to get a GP to write in notes why they’ve refused a referral/treatment so there’s a record.

Has nothing to do with certain dynamics sometimes a GP simply doesn't do what they're supposed to do. that's the reality, especially if you have a rare condition

would add one final thing being unhappy with your doctor. It's bad enough but remember your doctor can literally cost you your life if they don't do their job right. That's a big issue

but let's be honest you can submit a formal complaint. they admit they screwed up , it happenes 3 more times , 🤣 you can 'threaten ' 2 go ombasmen they don't care . I mean once it's sorted it's good
