Cake for breakfast? Make ahead and have it ready for breakfast. You can warm slightly again to soften. I eat this with honey when having it. (No honey for babies under 12 months so use alternatives mentioned below) 🍏Healthy Apple Pie Breakfast Cake 🍏 ✨100g SR flour 🍏2 apples, grated 🥚2 small eggs 🧈1 1/2 tbsp melted butter 🟡1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract and/or sprinkle of cinnamon ⭐️Optional: If batter feels too thick, add a good glug of milk, can happen if your apples are small. You can add 2 tbsp of sugar for toddlers to sweeten(recommended) 📝Combine all ingredients and bake on 180 degrees for 25 minutes until golden and cooked through and knife comes out clean. 👶For babies 6-12 months: Serve with yoghurt and and peanut butter. (Make sure it isn’t thick and gloopy so warm it or water down slightly. Cut in appropriate shape for age and in cut slightly thinner for them. 👧For toddlers 12m+: Serve with honey(especially if not adding sugar as needs something to sweeten slightly). ✨Let me know if you try this and what you think.
