The United States has reportedly offered Israel a compensation package that includes more military assistance and extensive diplomatic support if they don’t strike certain targets. These targets reportedly range from killing Khamenei to blowing up Iran’s nuclear facilities. US officials have allegedly told Israel that they lack the capabilities to strike Iran‘s nuclear program alone and that they need the U.S.’ help… and they aren’t getting it. Back in 2014, the Obama administration and Pentagon placed a ban on selling Israel the needed capabilities for such an operation. Israel’s Gallant says they will make their own decisions regardless of the US. Iran has reportedly prepared 10 scenarios on how to respond to Israel’s response. The G7 has recognized Israel’s right to respond but said that it must be proportional. And France has called for an arms embargo on Israel for any weapons used in Gaza.
