wonder why they have been open for over 90 years??? I can remember having fun as the waitress skates to the car and on the field trips. you have to be from Atlanta to understand the nostalgia and the fried pies and not just a slaw dog..a chili slaw dog!!!!

I've only been the varsity in Athens after a long night at the club and drinking. I didn't mind it but I was drunk and ended up in a hotel lmfao. that's like waffle House the only time it's "good"

I lived in Atlanta for two years & once a month I flew back home to New York for a wk to get good food and the rest of the time I was cooking. I don’t even know how you survive this.🤣

I’ve been about an hour outside of Atlanta for most of the last 40 years and I have never been to the varsity or heard anybody tell me they went to the varsity as an adult. Try Marietta diner.
