Pro tip. It doesn’t matter how far you hit your clubs.

Im using taylormade aeroburners from 2015. Just by playing and practicing Ive gone from barely breaking 100 to averaging in the mid 80s and hitting farther. Its about quality practice, not new clubs.

I played Nike Pro combos for 19 straight years. Just got new Taylormade irons. I hit them exactly the same distance! It’s obviously BS. Drivers have change over those years but not much with irons.

Spent 3000$ 4 years ago on nice clubs. Prolly will have them for another year or two. Then sell for 850$-1000$ and rebuy for 3000$

Unless you’re very good, you don’t need very good clubs. You just need to be able to hit the ball straight.

I hate my new clubs so I went back to my old ones that I got used in 2005 for $50 and my game has gotten so much more consistent.

Yes. it's more important knowing what your clubs do, how far they go/missed etc. vs. hitting a newer and possibly "improved" technology club"..BUT..buying new clubs is fun lol.

Sooo many things depend, what was the degree change, did they change to aided club vs a player or blade. If you don’t know them you don’t know the context of what changed.

They’re making the irons stronger lofted. So instead of hitting a 7 iron , you’re hitting more like a 6 iron

Kyle Chambliss :
It’s a yearly scam and what they will do is overtime a 5 iron will become a 6 because they reduce the °. Find clubs you hit well. the more often you can put into proper practice the better you’ll be

Doesn’t matter if they added 7 yards with new tech. You need 7 yards? Club up and take a little off.
