@watever0001: Dr Lee Wei Ling, daughter of Singapore’s founding prime minister Lee Kuan Yew, passed away on Wednesday (Oct 9) at the age of 69. Her brother, Mr Lee Hsien Yang, announced her death in a Facebook post early on Wednesday morning. Dr Lee died at her home, located at 38 Oxley Road, where the Lee family lived. She had revealed in 2020 that she was suffering from progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), a degenerative brain disease similar to Parkinson’s that affects movement, eye function, and balance, and eventually leads to death. Mr Lee Hsien Yang requested that donations be made to charities meaningful to Dr Lee, including Canossa Mission Singapore, Parkinson Society Singapore, and Total Well-Being SG Limited, in lieu of flowers.
